Abstract: The legal basis, pollutants selection and evaluation of toxic air pollution control in USA were introduced in terms of chemical substances. The approaches to toxic air pollution control stipulated by the laws and regulations were also introduced. Finally, the suggestions on strengthening chemical environmental management and jointly promoting air environmental protection were proposed.
